I have a consultant app today, I pushed for it I'm 22 weeks have had treatment on my cervix abnormal cells removed but never have had cervix checked through this pregnancy, have i a right to push for them to be checked while there today it has my anxiety through the roof and has me on edge. After 4 miscarriages I just want to make sure everything is alright xx

I think you should def have the right for the appt to be checked.

Before I got pregnant I was due to have the lletz treatment done for abnormal cells and then I got pregnant so didn't have this done. I've had multiple colposcopy's throughout my pregnancy (am nearly 32 weeks) to keep an eye on the cells in my cervix which I'm so grateful for.

I think they'd normally check your cervix thickness with ultrasound, which may not be able to be done today, however consultant may refer you for a scan. Defiantly no harm in asking :) you've got this mama x

Absolutely fine to ask! I asked my consultant at a routine appointment to check out what I thought was a lump on one of my breasts instead of making a separate GP app and she was more than happy to, so I’m sure they will be fine with you asking.
