Ahh ladies, I’m having a hormonal breakdown 😅
Help!!
I found out I was pregnant last weekend, a few days after being really ill with covid. All I’ve read is about how a high fever before 6 weeks can cause neural tube defects and all sorts and now I’m now pooping my pants that damage has been done 😩 I would have been about 4 weeks pregnant when I had a temp of 39.5+ for a couple of days. I did nothing to cool myself down - just wrapped myself in blankets, shivering, feeling sorry for myself!! And I wasn’t even taking folic acid 😩 (obvs I am now!)
Did anyone else have a fever in early pregnancy and have things turn out ok?! 😢
I called the GP to ask for some advice (and reassurance!!) but they told me to call the midwife… which I did but they weren’t interested in talking to me this early in pregnancy!
Has anyone been in the same boat? 😕
