I know pressing on the belly to feel baby position can't harm baby but can it harm the sac, maybe break it in some way? My midwife showed me how to press to feel where baby is but it hurt a bit when I did it so I stopped. Worried I harmed baby. Is this possible? Midwife doesn't seem worried, says they do it all the time. But it's the fact I felt a little pain when I did it. No symptoms since.

No it won't harm the baby or break the sac. If it did the HCPs wouldn't do it

It's perfectly fine.

It's fine.
I remember when my MW would feel where baby was and I was shocked at how rough she was 😂🙈

Your baby is very safe in there from this sort of thing

This is the type of thing I worried about, all of the time! The amniotic sac is the best airbag design in the world! You won't have hurt baby, they couldn't be safer:)
