Falling pregnant after C section

Hi everyone my daughter is 4 months old nearly 5 months on the first week of September and I've found out I am currently 6 weeks pregnant. I had an emergency c-section with my daughter has anyone been through a similar issue. It says online it's recommend to wait around 6 months I'm so worried ❤️

Talk to your GP and midwife. But if it’s any consolation, I have heard of women having the same length gap as you. Have a search for previous posts, there are lots of similar experiences 😊

A girl I know had 4 months between c-section and next pregnancy and they’re all fine! I think it’s probably recommended to wait X amount of time but lots of things are recommended, it doesn’t mean you have to stick to them exactly. I think the main risk is contractions if you were to go into labour early as that’s the most likely time for your scar to rupture so you’ll just need to be extra careful near the end and get to hospital as soon as you can but I’m sure you’ll be absolutely fine

Honestly it was absolutely fine. Try not panic. It's not unheard of.

Honestly thank you all so much❤️ I am still waiting to speak to GP/Midwife they won't see me until booking app which is normally 10 weeks hence myself overthinking 🤣
