I've called the maternity triage and she said to go to the pharmacy when it opens so they can give me a laxative.

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and this started yesterday morning, it's definitely a constipation pain and not early labour - not been in labour before but it's definitely a pain in my bum area!

I have constant pain sometimes I can ignore it and sometimes I can't walk around and just have to be still. Then also sometimes I'll have contraction type feelings where the muscle feels like it's contracting really hard and it's so incredibly painful.

I'm so sad I'm going to have to cancel plans tomorrow to see my little 19yo brother who is visiting from university, I had plans to take him book shopping but I just won't be able to walk around if tomorrow is the same as today and yesterday. It's come on so suddenly. Is there anything I can do??

I am still going to the loo so it's not like I can't pass anything. Have been a normal amount in the last 2 days it's just accompanied by lots of pain.

Al of my labour pains were in my bum, it literally felt like I was sitting in a spike and no pain in the front at all! I'm not saying that that's what's going on with you but I'd suggest getting the midwives to check things out just incase! Is the baby moving OK?

I had this yesterday op! It's bloody horrible ! Terribly constipated but I can still go, it's just hard and very small amounts. Yesterday I felt the urge to go but once on the toilet it went away completely and instead I had these awful shabby pains in my lower bump - you have my sympathy !

Baby is moving loads yesterday she moved more than she ever has before. The contraction type feeling I've had twice yesterday and twice yesterday hours and hours apart. It's like a shooting pain like sitting on a spike like you said! You think I should go and see my midwife in person tomorrow?

It sounds more like some sort of nerve pain.
