Arabic/English Girl's Name

Me and my husband can't seem to agree on names for our daughter who is due in 2 months. We wanted something that works in both English amd Arabic to reflect both our backgrounds. We have a shortlist but both like different names from the list:

Any thoughts on these to help us break the deadlock?!

I like maha it's pronounced as maaha. Hope you are enjoying your little girl.

I love Sophia, though not one I heard out there....
Also love.....Rana, Dalal, Layla and Faye is actually Arabic too 😊

Oh and Rayida, very similar to one on your list but may combine the too and nicer with an extra syllable xx

A friend's daughter is Amani which I think is lovely too.

I’d say wait until she is born and then go through the list together and see which one you think fits best.

we had a name picked up for our first and when we saw her, we both said nope, it doesn’t fit her.

you don’t have to declare the baby’s name right away, you have time to live with it for a bit and see if it works for you. Don’t rush.
