Very early pregnancy, blood when wiped. What to do?

I had a miscarriage a few months ago and have got pregnant again right after my first period. It has been about two weeks since my period finished and I wiped today and there is a bit of bright red blood. Is this my period or spotting? Is there anyone who I can see to check if everything is ok or do I have to just wait to see what happens? I appreciate it is very early in my pregnancy so probably very little that can be done. Would EPAU do anything?

It's only 2weeks since your period finished?

What DPO does that make you because it sounds super early?

waitamillisecond · 21/08/2022 11:56

It is very early. I don't know how you calculate DPO? I had a static smiley on clear blue OPK on 7th August and we DTD that day.

I just realised I got it wrong and it's 3 weeks since period finished

So you haven't missed a period yet? When are you due?

waitamillisecond · 21/08/2022 11:59

It's hard to say when my period is due because my last period was very long due to the miscarriage I assume. But I would calculate it that my period is due tomorrow

Have you had positive preg tests?

Janedoe82 · 21/08/2022 12:05

You won’t get a positive pregnancy test on same day you have sex

waitamillisecond · 21/08/2022 12:08

Sorry I think my post isn't clear

25th July - 2nd Aug had my period (very long as first period after miscarriage)

7th Aug - Static Smiley on OPK
7th Aug - DTD
18th Aug - Positive pregnancy test
21st Aug - Blood when wiped

22nd Aug - When I think my period is due

It sounds as though you would be best off trying a pregnancy test tomorrow or after tomorrow.

Regenbogen22 · 21/08/2022 12:22

It's really too early to tell what it is, OP, since you're not even 4 weeks yet. Could be spotting, could also be a chemical. I think it's too early to call EPU or anyone. I'd do as suggested above - take another test in a few days and see what happens with the bleeding/spotting.

vegang · 21/08/2022 12:44

Unfortunately there isn't really anything you can do apart from wait. EPU wouldn't see you this early.

It could be implantation bleeding

waitamillisecond · 21/08/2022 13:02

Thanks. Will just wait it out I guess and take each day as it comes
