I don't want to trust this brand as I know they've been really bad for indents recently
But the most confusing thing is I only had sex 6 days ago!!

I can see something, I suppose there is a chance you could have implanted really early! I would do another in 2 days x

stardust00 · 21/08/2022 14:04

I can see a line, impressive for 6 days after. Twins? 😅

TeddyisMydog · 21/08/2022 14:58

That's why I think there's no way it can be a true result
Almost unheard of surely? I'm still 12 days away from my period!!

Whattodonowadays · 21/08/2022 15:02

Do you mean the only time you have had sex recently is 6 days ago? You could have already been pregnant before you had sex 6 days ago? On my last pregnancy I was a few weeks more pregnant than I thought I could have been?

TeddyisMydog · 21/08/2022 15:04

I was on my period the 2nd to the 9th

Sorry I had sex on the 15th of August
It was a proper period as well and it would be darker if I was further along

OP posts:
mummatara · 21/08/2022 20:17

Is the line pink?

Flowersflowers121 · 23/08/2022 08:29

Have you tested again OP?

2020firsttimemum · 23/08/2022 20:24

I would have said that was positive too!

Did you do another test OP

TeddyisMydog · 24/08/2022 14:10

No I haven't tested again,
I had some very light bleeding the day after I made this post so decided to leave it for a few more days.

I am on the pill so ideally I need this to be negative. I just don't understand how it can be a true positive just after 6 days! And I'd definitely not had sex any time before as I've been so busy working
My period was like a normal period as well

2020firsttimemum · 24/08/2022 20:10

I would definitely test in the morning again to make sure. I know these tests recently have had indents so it may be worth trying another brand too

If it was twins it could show up early possibly?

TeddyisMydog · 25/08/2022 13:01

Well this is the result
It hasn't got any darker so I'm assuming another silly indent 🥲

This is good news op!
I wouldn't worry about it anymore until you're late or whatever now
Stressful times pregnancy testing!

TeddyisMydog · 29/08/2022 12:55

This is my test from this morning
🙃 definitely darker
But other brands are showing negative

Oh gosh, that one looks like a definite positive doesn't it?!

When are you due your period?

WhileMyGuitarGentlyWeeps · 29/08/2022 14:48

That is a negative pregnancy test.

When are you due your period?

I don't know what to think my head is spinning
As I'm on the pill I'm not always sure, but going by calculations of my last one then I'm due on in 4 days x

LolaLoo2 · 29/08/2022 16:11

@TeddyisMydog I don't want this to come across as scaremongering but this looks exactly like when I had my ectopic pregnancy, the lines stayed faint for weeks, some days slightly darker and others fainter. Although some other brands detected it, the FRER ones were always the clearest as they're the most sensitive.

If you Google the symptoms spotting/light bleeding is common, I had this and see you mentioned it too.

Just be on the look out for anything else as they can go wrong very fast! I hope this turns out the way you want it to though. Flowers

2mumlife · 29/08/2022 16:31

@TeddyisMydog FRER can pick up miniscule amounts of hcg in your blood. Test from today might be a very very early positive. I'd try again in a few days

2020firsttimemum · 30/08/2022 12:07

I would definitely test again when you're due your period and try a clear blue one or something as well?

Here for a handhold if you need it op

Hope you have support around you that will help with whatever you decide to do and how you're feeling 💐

2020firsttimemum · 02/09/2022 11:31

How's it going OP? Any update 😬 x

TeddyisMydog · 03/09/2022 14:41

Period didn't arrive, FR test still exact same faintness

Please contact your GP/EPU as it's detecting HCG somewhere, and very low amounts. You should expect it to be much darker by now meaning the HCG is rising and the pregnancy is progressing. I don't mean to scaremonger at all, but it just sounds so extremely familiar to when I had my ectopic... I could've wrote this post myself!

How many weeks would you expect to be now?
