Positive tests followed by a negative

About 5 days ago I got a very faint positive on a cheap test, so went to Tesco and bought loads of different tests. All were positive and I've been testing every day since and they've got darker and darker until this morning, which one test was completely negative and it was the last of my good tests, but cheapest of the good tests. So I took a cheap one after in a panic and that ones positive...

Has anyone had this before?

If they're all positive except one then I'd say that was a dud. But I'd just get a digital.

Please stop testing every day - you'll drive yourself mad!

It doesn't look like the one from today has anything in the right hand window like it should that suggests it's a dodgy test!

How far along are you? When hcg gets too high you have the hook effect and your tests get fainter this can start happening around 7 weeks. If you’re around there could dilute urine with water and test again and see. But unless you’re having bad cramps or bleeding with clots I would stop testing because it’ll only drive you crazy, take it from a fellow POAS addict 😂 Congratulations!

Thank you for all the replies! As someone spotted the test didn't have the second test line in it and so was faulty! I did a digital one and all was good Smile
