Am I loosing the pregnancy?

Hello - I need help!

I have been trying to get pregnant for 2+ years. I believe I had a chemical after about 3 months of trying (when I had covid) and possibly a few others - I was too scared to ever take pregnancy tests. After lots of investigation from the fertility clinic, I started Clomid this cycle.

I got my BFP on the 19th when I would have been 3+6 according to due date calculators. The same day, I had one episode of bright red blood. I instantly thought the worst and called my fertility clinic. They said there was nothing I could do except wait and they would scan me at 6 weeks to see if the pregnancy was viable. (Around 2nd of September). In the meantime, I needed to do a pregnancy test every other day to see if the line progresses.

Yesterday, I woke up first thing to pee and had another episode of bright red blood, then no bleeding for the rest of the day.

This morning I woke up and had another episode of bright red blood - but when I did my test, it was definitely a little bit darker.

I have included a photo, top test is this morning and bottom was two days ago.

Is this a good sign? Is it getting darker fast enough? Am I going to loose this pregnancy?

I am just very scared and feel very alone until the doctors open tomorrow and the clinic on Tuesday!

Yes the top one has definitely progressed from the previous test which is a good sign. Good luck I hope everything works out for you x

I definitely see line progression between those two tests - hopefully it means things are progressing normally.

I'll also be 6 weeks on 2nd Sept according to my last period. I had some light brown spotting and called my GP. She said bleeding can be normal and also said it would be more worrying if I was having painful cramping or shoulder pains. If you're not having either if those, hopefully that's a good sign too.

Wishing you lots of luck for your scan!! 🍀

Agree with what others have said! Looks like good line progression, sorry to hear about the bleeding. You will get people with good and bad experiences of bleeding in early pregnancy so won’t really know till you’ve had your scan. Wishing you the best!

i haven’t had any bleeding since early hours of Sunday. Took another test this morning and the lines are definitely getting darker - so hopefully all will be well. I can’t believe how stressful this all is!
