I was wondering if someone could ease my mind. I have been having very mild stomach cramping since last night. Almost like mild period pains and more uncomfortable than painful. Im 24 weeks pregnant - is this normal? I am unable to contact my midwife because she is on long term sick leave and no other midwifes are available to speak to me.

If you can't contact your midwife, call the pregnancy unit at the hospital for advice. Meanwhile, i hope the following helps:

I have been having the same thing and it should be ok, as long as you don't have any bleeding, loss of fluid from vagina (sorry, TMI) AND if the pain goes. If the pain is continuous, call the hospital for advice.
