Hey I'm just wondering if anyone knows that if your classed as a high risk in pregnancy and under consultant led care do they let you go over your due date or do they induce?

It would depend on the reasons for being considered high risk

I was consultant led due to my health problems, IUGR baby, was induced and had baby at 36 weeks but that’s because I had high resistance in the cord and baby's growth dropped off.

I guess it depends on how baby copes, if growth slows down or baby shows signs of distress they’d induce early.

It's likely you'll be offered early induction, particularly if your BP is unstable and/or baby is measuring small.

How often are you seeing the consultant? You can ask them at your next appointment?
