How on earth do you tell?! This isn't even my first I just can't remember. I've been having tightenings for over 2 hours, anything from 5 to 10 mins apart but not always equally spaced if that makes sense. Lost a lot of what I assume was plug at about 9.30 this morning but not bloody show or anything but these tightening since. I know only time will really tell but I want to know if this is it so badly haha.

My midwife said it's about what else is happening at the time.

So if you've just done some strenuous (not advised!) exercise and they start when you're still huffing...more likely BH. If you're only 28 weeks and it's a one off more likely BH. If you've lost your plug and you're 40 weeks, more likely labour I imagine!

I remember from about 30 weeks I'd have days where I'd get BH on and off all day! I was working from home luckily and would be on my laptop in bed trying not to stress.

That's a good way to gauge it thanks. 38+2 and definitely no strenuous activity 😂 the most I've done to
