At last a breather! I still feel sick - probably a "normal" level of morning sickness this morning but last night I ate something and it stayed down!

Not sure whether it was on here or somewhere else but someone suggested eating protein. It was the last thing I wanted but last night - after spending half the day crying as I felt so awful - I ate the top of a pizza. All the cheese and pepperoni.

About half way through I stopped feeling so sick and afterwards I wasnt sick! I didnt even feel like I was going to be sick.

I have been sick after eating everything this last couple of weeks - nothing stayed down and was starting to get dehydrated and a bit lifeless.

So today I feel so much better as actually have some food inside me - enough to even be considering going and getting something to eat for breakfast.

So if you are really suffering - try it it might work - I hope so!

Anyone else got any cures today - if you are anything like me they only seem to last a few days before you need the next one, lol.

I dont know many people who ginger actually worked for. Bland foods seem to work better or foods high in sugar such as sweets.

Its all so individual that what works for one person sends another person running.

Hope you feel better soon

I found rich tea biscuits really good. They were recommended to me by a friend. And whatever I'm craving at the time works quite well too.

I've been drinking a ginger cordial, but I'm not convinced it's been any help at all.

And - I bought some of those travel sickness wristbands and found them quite useful but only for the nasty background nausea - they don't stop you throwing up...

Can you tell I've been a bit desperate?

Plain old Ryvita snack bread works for me. Remember to eat little and often.

Also - Nairns ginger oat biscuits next to my bed all the time really helps - I pop one in my mouth before I get up every day

The only thing that seems to be working for me at the moment is little and often, maybe a ginger bisc every hour or so. Anything more than that just comes straight back up!

Im 6+5 days and am suffering all through the day. Ive been told arrowroot biscuits help but as of yet I havent been able to find any! Ive also been sucking on hard boiled sweets which really helps. Last night all I could manage were pork chops followed by 4 slices of egg fried bread!!

I also agree that ginger doesnt work for everyone, it certainly isnt helping me in any way!
