13 or 14dpo faint pink line??

I just took a pregnancy test (Answer, which looks like FRER) and there’s a faint pink line. It’s definitely unmistakably pink. I checked it within 5 mins (max wait time was 10) and even an hour later it’s still pink. It’s faint though. Is this an issue? I was told I would struggle to conceive so my mind is all over the place right now.

They aren’t the best pics because it was dark. In real life it’s without a doubt pink. What do you think? If I wait a couple of days would it potentially get darker?

I’m so nervous! I hope it gets darker.

That is definitely positive. Take another one tomorrow with your first wee of the day and you should hopefully see another positive, though you might not get a darker line until the day after (HCG takes around 2 days to double early on).

I see it

summerlovinvibes · 17/08/2022 14:25

Definitely a positive there! Congratulations! @rubysparkles1

@LolaJ87 @summerlovinvibes @mummatara thanks! It feels surreal. I haven’t told anyone in real life yet. I’ve ordered more tests to arrive tomorrow so I’ll test again (although it won’t be fmu so I might wait until the day after). I want to double check but I hope this is real.

Everything crossed for you but pretty sure this is the real thing! Keep us posted :)

BipolarSunset · 17/08/2022 15:34

Definitely a line! Fingers crossed for you OP! X

Answer tests aren’t designed to be taken early (they aren’t as sensitive as a FRER) so at 13/14 dpo I’d expect the line would be faint. I don’t think that’s something to be concerned about.

congrats 🎉

Looks positive! Congratulations 👏🏼

Another faint pink this morning. I started feeling a little bit nauseous an hour ago. Just then I had light bleeding when I wiped. It wasn’t bright or dark red like my usual flow.

That sounds really promising @rubysparkles1

I’m bleeding though. That can’t be promising?

@rubysparkles1 bleeding can be normal in early pregnancy. Have you got a picture of todays test against the one you did on weds?

LolaJ87 · 19/08/2022 17:33

It sounds like implantation bleeding. If it's just a bit of spotting, and your normal period hasn't come on, then yes I'd consider that promising!

LolaJ87 · 19/08/2022 17:33

Especially when combined with the nausea.

rubysparkles1 · 19/08/2022 22:35

@mummatara @LolaJ87 unfortunately there are clots now. It was light until recently (it’s 10:30pm).

@Motherbear2016 please can you start your own thread instead of jumping on mine? I’ve been bleeding a lot and don’t really appreciate you changing the subject on my post. Thank you.
