Do I still have appointments if i get Covid?

I’ve just been told by a family member I saw the other day that he has Covid.

Don’t know yet if I’ve caught it but I’m 37 weeks and going in for regular scheduled monitoring due to some issues.

Have a couple of scans booked too.

I feel this is such a critical time where I have worries about the baby. If I do contract Covid, will those scans and monitorings have to be cancelled?

No you should still have them. I had covid when i was 34-35weeks pregnant and in for regular scans and monitoring for reduced movement. I called the labour ward/ maternal assessment unit and they had me come to a separate entrance and put me in a room and 1 person came and did all the monitoring etc for me.
Definitely don't miss out because of it.

Good luck to you and baby 🙏

@Merryclaire you need to tell them if you get Covid.

Phone and let them know. If you pass it on, the staff member(s) may be out of action for 2 weeks, meaning more women’s scans cancelled, perhaps even yours. I hope you don’t get it as if sounds things have been stressful enough. Good luck !

I would of course tell them, but wondered if I would have to miss critical appointments at this late stage of the pregnancy.
