6 weeks 6 days red bleeding

Successful IVF 2nd round got a BFP- 2 days ago have brown blood went to EPU and they did an internal scan and I seen the heartbeat.

This afternoon I've had stomach discomfort and when I've gone to the toilet there is red blood it's more than spotting but not heavy anyone had any success stories after experiencing this?

So scared.

I had this! I bled every 2 weeks until 10 weeks, was a sub uterine hemorrhage/ subchrorionic bleeding. Everything was fine and I carried to term just fine.

I had what was like a "gush" of blood, like it literally felt like I had suddenly come on a heavy period very suddenly. The bleeding would be bright red but it would taper off after a day or two. It was enough to need to wear a pad xx

@MrsMamaD I had some brown blood when I wiped earlier and now it's stopped, I just wish I knew everything was ok in there.

Definitely sounds like a hemorrhage more than anything else, also sometimes your cervix can bleed a bit. If you did want to get a peace of mind private scan, I'd recommend waiting until at least 8 weeks when you're most likely to see heartbeat etc. But for now, if it was only bleeding and no cramps then really try not to worry ❤I've got my fingers crossed for you x

I have one booked through my clinic for 8 + 6 and the lovely people at the EPU have said I can call them for a scan next week too- so I'm going to see what happens.

I've also been taking tests and getting nice bright lines so no HCG drop yet 🤞🏼all will be ok.

@MrsMamaD Just got back from my scan - all ok. Just needed an ultrasound today as they could very clearly see everything and the little heartbeat. So relieved but still cautious.

Scan at clinic now next Tuesday and then transfer to GP and await 12 week scan :)
