Was peeing a lot but it’s stopped

I found out I was pregnant last week. I’m probably 4-5 weeks along now. My symptoms have been frequent urination, cramping, tender boobs, occasional dizziness, constipation, and occasional vivid dreams.

For the whole last week I’ve been getting up at 4am to pee… yesterday evening I did a Pilates class and for the first time since finding out I slept through the night, and this morning I didn’t have that much to pee just my normal pre-pregnancy amount, and I realised that yesterday I didn’t have much of an urge.

I also haven’t had cramps in a couple of days. But this morning the cramps have returned. I’m worried that losing the peeing symptom and regaining cramps is a sign of early miscarriage… anyone have symptoms come and go, especially early on, that can reassure me?

Maybe because the heatwave had more or less ended yesterday I just didn’t drink as much water - I’m going to put some effort into hydration today because my pee does look dehydrated tbh.

I haven’t had my first midwife appointment yet, waiting for them to get back to me, so I don’t have anyone official to talk to…

Thanks in advance!

Maybe drink some more water. You sound dehydrated.

congrats on your positive pregnancy test too!

Thank you! And thanks for your quick response. It’s our first so it’s all new to me! I will drink more water as you recommend. Might make it weak squash as drinking loads of plain water has always made me feel a bit sick lol! But will try to have as much plain as possible as I’ve heard it’s better. Thanks again!

Hi, congratulations! I'm in the same boat- really panicking about this pee thing. I still pee a lot during the day but no longer wake up in the night. I’m 5 weeks 1 day, and super worried.

Hi there, you don't have to wait for the midwife to be in touch, look up your areas Early Pregnancy Unit - some won't see you until 6 weeks but worth phoning them (or your GP) if you're worried about something. Though I think it's fairly normal for symptoms to come and go - I'd still call if you're not sure.
