Scared of ectopic?

hello,
this is my 4th pregnancy as I had 3 miscarriages in my life. My first HCG beta was 128 then the next after 2 days, 282.
Everything seemed well.
Today I had cramps like a period and bled. I passed a few clots.
I went to ER and had blood drawn and my levels more than doubled in 2 days 1066 from 282.
I'm home and bleeding still but no more clots. But I have to make a bowel movement like every 15 min and I do. And I'm so scared it's ectopic because I read that's a symptom of ectopic accompanied with the cramps and bleeding.
Any experience with ectopic? Scared of ignoring and dying.
Surely they could have seen a ruptured something in the ultrasound?
They tried to look for baby but I'm only 4w3d so nothing...

I’m sorry to hear of your previous losses. Ectopics typically have slow rising HCG. I’m not sure about bowel movements being a symptom as thats not something I personally experienced. The bleeding tends to be like coffee grounds or plum coloured. The pain from a ruptured Fallopian tube is unbearable imo. Before rupture, pain tends to be one sided and quite severe, not like overall period cramps (again, in my experience). It’s likely that they would have been able to see indication of an ectopic on an ultrasound. Did they find a gestational sac on your ultrasound? I’m assuming that the hospital weren’t worried as they’ve sent you home. If you’re anxious about this, can you contact the hospital and explain?

Just going to add that really no one on the internet can tell you what’s going on with your body/pregnancy and I’d hate for you to ignore something and it be a bad outcome. I’d always recommend contacting the hospital if you’re seriously worried/in pain/bleeding for reassurance. They may want to look you over again just to make sure. The shoulder tip pain people speak of (and not everyone gets with ectopic) only happens when you’ve ruptured and there is internal bleeding.

Go back if you feel worried. It may have been missed.

I had something similar it turned out to be cysts on my ovaries, huge ones which can also rupture and be very dangerous. My levels shot up quickly like yours. I hope you are okay,

How did they explain such high hcg levels and nothing on the ultrasound?

@Ladybug4023 hi , I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope you have a positive outcome. It's a worrying time with no control over the outcome.

Gently, you've started multiple threads on this within the last few hours, maybe it would be best if you stick to one thread so people can follow better and give you advice? This one seems to be the latest one?

Hope you're okay
