Hi everyone! I’m currently pregnant with my second baby and really hoping to breastfeed and was hoping to hear some of your best tips and advice. With my first I exclusively pumped for the first for 3 months but eventually gave up by 4 months as it was quite difficult, my family made a big deal about how breastfeedings weird and that I’d cause a clingy baby (no one in my family did it and they’re very closed minded) so I didn’t end up doing it with my first and really regret it so I’m wanting to try this time. Thank you!

Take advice from the midwives when the baby is born and ignore your family from the sounds of it! I found breastfeeding so much easier than bottle feeding. I still breastfeed my DD at night and she's 18m- trying to wean her off at the moment.
She's not clingy- goes to nursery and is looked after by others absolutely fine. I'm just weak when it comes to standing my ground at night!

They just sort of know what to do. Feed on demand and build up your supply. DS 21 months going strong but we're about to wean. Much easier than bottles. Not clingy, very confident!
