Hey everyone

im currently 24 weeks pregnant and in the past couple weeks I’ve noticed when I even slightly overwork my body, my legs feel really heavy, and sometimes my arms too. Is this normal? Or a sign of something serious? At first I thought it was just tiredness but getting a bit worried now. When I walk up the stairs it feels like I have weights attached to my legs!
I also have moments where I feel quite weak and need to sit down, if I’ve overdone it.

any experiences?

hi there! I am afraid I have no answer to that but experiencing the same from roughly 26 weeks or so. Have got my iron levels and b12 levels checked and all fine, the doctor prescribed to test thyroid now but I haven’t been generally a very sporty/ fit person so maybe that’s a reason too!

Could you be anaemic? I would ask for a blood test.

I lost a lot of blood after giving birth and became anaemic and it completely wiped me out. Just walking up the stairs tired me out so much.

I was going to say it sounds like anaemia too
