Cervical lengthening scans

Has anyone had any experience with cervical lengthening scans? I was originally told they need to be undertaken between 16 and 18 weeks. I am 16 weeks 3 days and was due to have mine tomorrow. The hospital have just called to cancel as there are now new rules which stipulate these tests need to be at around 18 weeks then again 22-24 weeks. Due to holidays and clinic times they can’t see me for my first scan until I’m 21 weeks and 5 weeks. Should I be concerned? This is my first pregnancy and the checks are due to having a previous loop excision after an abnormal smear.

I'm having these in my current pregnancy due to having an emcs at 10cm with my daughter.

My first was at 17+6 and then my last one was at 20 weeks. I'm definitely having another 2 at least, even though the last 2 have been fine.

I think if the clinic were really concerned they'd fit you in regardless. Can you ring them to check they're happy with when your first one will be? The scan itself is very quick.

In my first pregnancy I had this scan at 21 weeks, then due to some problems I was experiencing I was checked weekly and at 24 weeks it had shortened. This time around I started having them at 14 weeks simply because of the problems the first time round, I carried the first to term though with appropriate measures in place, such as rest and progesterone pessaries. This time my cervix has behaved :)
