Confused about scans 6 weeks

Just wondering if anyone could help.

I had a scan with a private hospital at 5w5d where I saw a really clear picture of a gestational sac and fetal pole.

I got a free scan at a local ultrasound place but I had to use it within a week so I had my second ultrasound today at 6w3d and it took ages for the sonographer to find the gestational sac because the image quality was quite poor. She eventually found it with the yolk sac but couldn't identify anything else.

This has worried me but I'm trying to decide if the second image is just too poor quality to see anything or whether it's just not progressed.

I have a second scan with the private hospital at 7w5d but that seems like ages away.

Does the second image look really awful quality to anyone else?

Please no horrible comments. I've had 3 miscarriages and am really anxious. The free scan is one they owed me as I miscarried last time and didn't get chance to use it.

First pic 5w5d, second 6w3d

I think the scans at ultrasound places shouldn’t be considered the same quality as a medical scan. The sonographer and equipment is going to be better at a private hospital. I had a private scan (at a clinic) at 7 weeks and we could just about see a heartbeat and blurry bean shape. Don’t panic, scans before 7-8 weeks are quite unreliable as everything is tiny.
I do appreciate the anxiety though. I’m 15 weeks and debating a private scan to make sure everything is ok. It seems like ages between 12 and 20 weeks, and don’t get me started on the anxiety before 12 weeks

Yeah I guess you're right. I just have a really bad feeling it's all going to go wrong again. I just want my next scan to come now so I know either way!

@Kerrielouise84 yeah that seems like a much clearer image. I'm hoping it was just a poor quality scan. I've called the EPU today because I'm due to see them anyway for medication. Will see what they say. Thanks

Went to EPU for my medication and they said they would scan me due to the confusion. Saw a baby and a heartbeat measuring right on track! The image was crystal clear! Will never use the private company again!

Got another check up next week due to previous miscarriages but feel I can breathe a little now!
