Panicking! Tv remote and pregnancy! Will have slept on it hurt my baby

Now I know I’m probably being massively over dramatic and over thinking but I have had 3 consecutive losses one at 18 weeks so I think my heads just in overdrive. I am currently pregnant 6 weeks with my 4th pregnancy after losses. I am panicking as I accidentally slept on the sky remote. Will the constant infra red from the remote hurt the baby in anyway? Please no nasty comments! Thank you

No, no it won’t .

vincettenoir · 14/08/2022 14:52

No way. Think no more of it.

vincettenoir · 14/08/2022 14:53

All the best going forward btw.

No harm at all. Deep breaths, all is fine.

I get it, been there and done that in terms of over thinking due to loss but you've got to get this anxiety under control now, seek professional help if needs be because this will take over your life and there will be no joy to having your baby.

Seriously?

SendARavenToRiverRun · 14/08/2022 15:04

No, it will be fine. Bless you, it's so worrying. Xx

Infra red can barely penetrate skin (~5mm), never mind everything else that stands between baby and the outside. HTH.

It will be fine, OP. Try and relax Flowers speak to your midwife about how you're feeling. All the best with the rest of the pregnancy 💞
