When to seek medical urgent attention

I’m having a miscarriage- it started at 7 weeks, but stopped growing at 5 weeks. Been bleeding like start of a period for 6 days - today is heavier and really bitty clots. Is this bad? Or just likely par for the course?

Really sorry to hear this... with my experience of my MC clots are normal. I had some tiny ones and some big ones. Look after yourself 💖

Sorry you’re going through this @ElspethTascioni. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks that stopped growing at 6-7 and was quite nervous about pain/blood loss but it went okay at home. The worst bit was passing the tissue (a lot of clots too) - I had brief contraction-like cramps but with paracetamol it was all manageable. It ended quickly. I bled for a few more days after like a long period. I think A&E is for those cases where you’re bleeding very heavily (eg a couple of pads in an hour) and/or in severe pain, otherwise it sounds like a normal (heartbreaking 🙁) experience. You can always call 111 for advice, too. Hope it’s over quickly for you, take care x

Thanks folks, I appreciate your replies. I got into a bit of a panic because I’m away from home. I feel better now, just have to hope it passes quickly! Stupidly I didn’t expect it to be this unpleasant…🤣
