IVF pregnancy - low lying gestational sac at 6w

Any success stories from a sac that is low in the uterus? Positive stories only please.

We had a 6w private scan yesterday. They saw a 6mm gestational sac with a yolk sac (no baby yet). And also told me I'm measuring behind a few days. However the most worrying thing is that they said the sac is actually too low in my uterus.

She said whilst things could still be okay, it could be a sign that the sac is ‘on its way out’.

I’ve been spotting for nearly two weeks but the EPU confirmed my bloods were rising well last week. I do feel much more bloated and nauseous today, plus have some mild period like cramps in my lower abdo.

We have a scan at our IVF clinic tomorrow but I’m sick with worry and just feel like I’m waiting for the inevitable. 😢 I can’t take MC stories right now, so positive experiences only please. Xx

I've had this same problem today. Growing sac no baby I'm around 6+5. I have been send tk the EPU Saturday for a internal to see if there's any baby grown or if it's failed. I didn't do ivf but I have a feeling its failed due to Google. There's a pregnancy what happens where you have hormones and a growing sac but no baby. Did you drink alot of water? I didn't. I'm hoping it isn't what I think it is. And for you❤

Hey! I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this too. 😢 I'm clinging onto the fact I'm still early and many people don't see the heartbeat until closer to 7 weeks. The sonographer really terrified me and Google just made things worse. I have read some stories with positive outcomes so I'm clinging onto those xx

You actually have a yolk sac which is a good sign I don't even have a yolk sac , I think you'll see yours on your next scan❤

Worried I may have similar. The waiting is so difficult. What was the outcome for you both?
