Miscarriage but new pregnancy symptoms - could they be wrong?

I’ve recently spend a few days in A&E suffering a miscarriage. I’ve had bleeding like a period. Today I’m having new pregnancy symptoms including nausea and sore boobs. HCG levels rising, could they be wrong?

I had a trainee sonographer doing the scan and she couldn’t find any signs that I’d ever been pregnant. The other sonographer didn’t look. I had both internal and external scans.

Why am I getting new symptoms?

I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. How many weeks were you when that happened? I’m not sure what would cause your hcg levels to rise but ongoing symptoms could be due to your hormones taking time to return to normal. If things don’t settle down within a couple of weeks I would ask GP for advice.

Also take a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks and if it’s still positive, try to get another scan. Just in case they missed something.
