18 weeks - symptoms?

Can I ask everyone how they felt at 18 weeks??

I've had quite a tough pregnancy so far, but my symptoms are very much easing now. I want to enjoy it but can't help feeling a bit anxious.

I think it's mainly because I haven't felt the baby move yet. I have anterior placenta so the midwife did say it may take awhile.

But I've gone from feeling very pregnant (being sick, extremely tired, heartburn etc) to just feeling normal (bar a bit of a backache) very suddenly and it's quite unnerving. Anyone else feel like this?

It was around this time that I started feeling symptoms ease too - I'd had terrible fatigue up until then and suddenly found myself with more energy and able to get out and do a lot more. I know it can be worrying, but try to enjoy it - I'm 27 weeks now and the tiredness is returning with a vengeance!

I’m 17+1 and feel the same, have felt absolutely normal for the last couple of weeks, apart from still being unable to brush my teeth without gagging. No sickness, no nausea, no food aversions or cravings! I think this in between scan stage before you start feeling movement is a very anxious time! I had an anterior placenta with DC1 and didn’t feel him until around 20 weeks x

Thanks both.

It's reassuring to hear other people felt the same.

I had just gotten so used to feeling horrendous that I'm not a little shocked by how well I feel!

I could have written this post myself.. I'm 18 + 5 and this week my symptoms have vanished after suffering morning sickness most mornings and having 0 energy. My breasts are also no longer tender.

I think i've only just started to feel movement in the last few days but i'm unsure of my placenta position.

18 weeks was just when I started to feel good after weeks of nausea and feeling like a bag
of 💩

Then I got Covid 🤦🏻‍♀️

No movement until bang on 20 weeks and he started going crazy! Normal for a first baby.

I’m now 29 weeks and no symptoms at all apart from loads of movement and breathlessness on climbing stairs. You’re all good 😊

I had symptoms ease at this point as well. The heartburn returned after a while though. I also had an anterior placenta, so didn't feel movement as well as I would have if placenta wasn't anterior.
As the baby grew, I felt a lot more movement, particularly after about 20 wks

That's pretty much me, symptoms seem to have vanished!

Just wish I could feel movements. Hopefully soon though!

Seems like this is quite normal for this stage which is good.
