When did everyone feel their first movements in previous/first pregnancies? I know it can start as early as 16-24 weeks. This is my first pregnancy and I’m a little overweight, not overly and just hoping I will feel baby soon 🤰🏻🤞🏼

I have an anterior placenta and didn’t feel any proper movements until after 22 weeks. Before that I felt tiny flutters but they were really tiny. Now I’m 27 weeks and still no pattern to the movements, even though they have become stronger and more often. They just happen at random times throughout the day.

HSKAT · 09/08/2022 23:04

I had anterior also, and also 22 weeks.

When did you find out you had an anterior placenta? It seems really common. Thank you for commenting.

Flutters probably 18 weeks or so then actual kicks 20-21 weeks if I recall correctly, everyone is different though.

About 16 weeks with DS maybe slightly earlier. It started as little flutters. I had posterior placenta with DS.

Having twins now and felt them from about 14 weeks which is super early and I had anterior placentas.

I got told at my 12 week scan for all my babies what position my placenta was in.

Had a scan on Friday (18+6) and one of my placentas is now posterior and twin 2 still has an anterior placenta at the moment. Probably explains why I feel more flutters/rolls/kicks on my left side where twin 2 is. I'm currently 19+3.

Left side where twin 1 is**
