Missing 34 week appointment?

I’m currently 32+5. I last saw my midwife at 31 weeks 5 days (2nd august).

At the end of my appointment my midwife said she would contact me with a date for my next appointment later that week because the computer system wasn’t working. She said the appointment would be the week of 5th September, which will be when I’m 36-37 weeks.

It was a bit of a busy and chaotic appointment and I had a couple of lots of blood taken so had to go lie down in a cold room so I didn’t question it at the time.

However, when I got home I thought it seemed like my next appointment was quite a way away. I checked the NHS website and the website of my local NHS area and they both say I should have an appointment at 34 weeks (basically an appointment every 2 weeks from 32 weeks to 40 weeks).

I rang the midwife today and they said that the computer system still wasn’t working but they would let me know about my next appointment.

I’m wondering if I need to point out that I think my next appointment should be sooner than 5th September? I’ve not required any additional monitoring to this point. It’s my first pregnancy so I’m not sure whether the 34 week appointment is an optional one or whether there’s just been a bit of a mix up?

I feel like I’m probably being overly anxious and risk being labelled as pushy and a pain. But I also don’t want to miss and appointment

I am 30 weeks pregnant and it’s my first pregnancy. As i have a lot of anxiety my midwife previously offered additional appointments to me, so I think you could call and ask for one. And from what oil understand they need to be seeing you more regularly after 28 weeks as the hospital notes suggest (do you have a schedule included within those?). So I would just give it another day or two and try again and query the dates. They shouldn’t say no xx
