I'm intrigued, did any ladies on here just know from super early on whether they were having a girl or boy?

I'm 9w3d and I'm sure I'm having another boy 👦 I don't think I'd believe the sonographer if they said a girl 🙈🙈

Let me know if you were right all along before finding out.

With both kids I guessed right (I didn’t find out the sex before birth). But I had a 50% chance of being right so it’s more by luck than judgement.

YourUserNameMustBeAtLeast3Characters · 08/08/2022 08:30

With both pregnancies I knew deep down they were girls.

They are both boys.

SheilasLemonade · 08/08/2022 08:31

Yes. I only ever wanted one child and only wanted a girl. As soon as I fell pregnant I knew it was a boy. Confirmed at 16 week private scan. Love the bloody bones of him - don't worry!!

Elspethelf · 08/08/2022 08:35

Every dream I’ve ever had where I’ve had a child, it’s been a boy. Every dream my husband has ever had where he has had a child, it was a girl. We both felt strongly but you can’t both be right!

BanditBluey · 08/08/2022 08:47

I was certain I was having a girl. No one could convince me otherwise. Well except the ultrasound technician when they told me it's a boy 😂

LT2 · 08/08/2022 09:15

I thought I was having a girl (and all but a couple people thought the same) for some reason. I had a dream it was a girl, so did my sister. My 6 year old Niece said she had a vision it was a girl too😄
I had a boy.
I didn't have a preference so it wasn't anything to do with that. I've always hoped for one of each, and he's my first!

Youcancallmeirrelevant · 08/08/2022 09:19

I wouldn't say i knew, as it was all on feelings only, but I guessed right

blibbyblobb · 08/08/2022 09:20

I had a very strong feeling my last pregnancy was a boy (even though i had no preference) we found out when i gave birth and i was right! 😊

Squiff70 · 08/08/2022 09:25

I'm 37 weeks. From 7 weeks I was utterly convinced we were having a boy. The day before our 16w scan when we knew we'd be asked if we'd like to know the sex, we went into a shop and I bought this little bunny mobile in blue which plays lullabies. My partner laughed at me being utterly convinced and my mum called me presumptuous.

There was absolutely no way I'd have believed the consultant if he'd said we were expecting a girl. I laughed out loud when he scanned me the next day and told us (with our permission) that it's a boy. That has been 'confirmed' in a number of scans since then.

We already have a little girl and we didn't have a preference over sex. We just wanted a healthy baby.

Nothing and nobody could convince me we were expecting another girl. I have no idea why I was so certain from the very beginning this one's a boy. Mother's intuition, maybe?

Teaandcrumpets95 · 08/08/2022 09:28

Me and my husband were both certain baby was a girl from day 1.

Night before the scan I had a very vivid dream of giving birth to a boy- he is a lovely healthy boy 😊

Moomoo2o22 · 08/08/2022 09:43

I was sure deep down this baby was a boy but after three girls I thought it was wishful thinking, turns out I was right we are expecting a boy and are all delighted!!

Janey3090 · 08/08/2022 12:03

Currently 18w 5d with baby no1, from the first day I found out I was pregnant I was 100% convinced baby is a boy, I told everyone I knew I was certain and even had a boy name picked out. I even convinced DH it was a boy!

I was wrong, the private gender scan last week confirmed it's a girl! 💗

The only strange thing which I've thought about since is that the night before I ovulated I had the MOST vivid dream that I gave birth to a baby girl. I never dream about having babies so the dream itself has stuck in my head. I got a positive ovulation test that morning, and got pregnant from that egg with our girl!

YanTanTetheraPetheraPimp · 08/08/2022 12:07

With dd I was hooked on eating mayonnaise and the old wives tale is savoury for a boy 🙄 according to my mother?
with DS I couldn’t stand the sight of mayonnaise anywhere and craved Bournville chocolate so I suspected I was having a boy.

CoodleMoodle · 08/08/2022 12:22

With DD I had absolutely no idea. I thought she was a boy for awhile, but wasn't certain. And I was wrong, obviously!

But with DS I had a strong feeling he was a boy. I just "knew". Maybe I felt different or something.

greenerfingers · 08/08/2022 12:25

My first I was utterly convinced was a girl. I sadly lost her but I was right. My second I knew from 6 weeks he was a boy. I knew with so much surety but couldn't explain it. I think my body reacted so polar opposite the my first pregnancy that I thought this has to be a boy. We never found out the gender but when he was passed to me and they asked whether I was going to ask gender or not I just said I already know he's a boy. Seeing just confirmed it. 3rd pregnancy now and absolutely positively no idea what this one is. I couldn't guess for the life of me. And the surprise element has made the pregnancy quite exciting in that sense. My son I never got the gender confirmed but because I was so convinced I didn't feel like it was a surprise either. And the weirdest thing with him is that all my dreams were of me having a little girl. But even then I just was like nope they're wrong. It's a boy. And indeed he was!

AWobABobBob · 08/08/2022 12:27

Yeah was certain I was having a boy...had a boy.

AWobABobBob · 08/08/2022 12:27

(And I didnt find out until he was born)

Dyra · 08/08/2022 12:47

If I'd found out at 16-20 weeks with mine, I would have been wrong with DC1 (thought boy at the time, was girl) and right with DC2 (utterly convinced boy the whole time).

I woke up one morning with DC1 around 34 weeks knowing I was having a girl and couldn't believe I'd ever thought I was having a boy.

finallyfoundmyself · 08/08/2022 13:52

With my first I was sure of a girl and was confirmed a girl with my second I thought boy and I lost that baby third I was adamant a girl and was confirmed 3 weeks ago another girl. We're a family of all girls and boy losses for some reason. Last male was my dad 50 years ago but a few boy losses under our belts

Dipsydoodlenoodle · 08/08/2022 23:16

I was sure I was having a girl...we didn't find out until birth.

After the 20 week scan we went clothes shopping for neutral clothes...that night I had a dream we were clothes shopping in the neutral aisle, and then the whole aisle turned into pink little outfits.

I had a girl.

allthingssparkly · 09/08/2022 13:57

Thank you so much for all your comments ❤

I had the Ramzi Theory done on my most recent scan, got the report back this morning and now I'm so eager to know whether its actually right 😬 it's come back as 75% confident 🤫

It will be a while before my 20 week scan!

I was wrong with all 4 of mine 🤣 if you take a guess, or have an inkling, there is always going to be a 50% chance you are right 🤷‍♀️

LilacSky95 · 09/08/2022 14:00

Send me your scan pic, I am good at ramzi theory! 😆

CookPassBabtridge · 09/08/2022 14:05

Yeah I felt they were both boys and they were 💙💙

MsSquiz · 09/08/2022 14:10

With dd1 I was convinced she was a boy. Even asked the sonographer to check again.

With dd2 I just knew she was a girl from day 1
