Still taking x2 cocodamol at 30 weeks

I was prescribed the 30/500mg cocodamol at 17 weeks for severe pgp, it did ease off compared to what it was but still need to take a couple of painkillers daily.
I'm starting to worry a little as I read something about breathing problems in newborns ? My midwife said it's fine to take x2 a day and that loads of people do but I'm still a little worried.
Does anyone else take these tablets daily ? Or have done in previous pregnancies ?

Pretty sure the breathing problems in newborns is a generic warning for all opiates used in the delivery, co-codamol is quite a weak opiate and I think its only a possible issue if used during labour.
Your midwife and doctor will know what they are doing, it will be okay

So it isn't specific to cocodamol?
