Gender scan at 12 weeks

I was wondering if anyone has been told baby's gender at their 12 week scan? I know it's usually around 16 weeks but curiosity has me dying to find out

I don't think it's possible to see before 16 weeks, is it?

Genitals aren't formed properly by 12 weeks. There's theories like skull and nub theory to guess but you can't reliably tell (potty shot) until at least 16 weeks

My SIL was told her 2nd was a boy at her 12 week NHS scan, they were right. I've never heard anyone else being told this though!

We found out with all of ours at 12 weeks but it was a consultant who did the scans.
