Desperate to go early

I'm 36 weeks today, very swollen, uncomfortable, emotional and struggling to walk! I went 12 days over with DS1 and resulted in a C section, as the title says I am desperate to go early or on time with DS2!

If you went early then what did you do to help things along? I'm managing at least a 30minute walk a day but that's about it!

I always tell myself they'll come when they're meant to come and the longer they're in there the better in terms of their development. A nurse also told me to see pregnancy as 42 weeks and that made a huge difference as mentally I was okay come 40 then xx

Following with interest... I'm 27w with dc2 and would love to not go overdue this time!

Definitely check it out first but I went over by 12 days with dd1. With dd2 I just couldn't. At 37 weeks I started evening primrose oil capsule up vagina at night, its suppose to soften and ripen- I did look into it all, I also took raspberry leaf tea. 38 weeks waters broke.

I was too scared to keep doing it as I didn’t want to go early before my csection but colostrum harvesting is supposed to bring on contractions and ‘ripen’ 🤢 the cervix or something

Cool thanks I'll try the primrose capsules & colostrum harvesting! Tried raspberry tea last time to no avail!
