I'm 30+5. I'm Not going to ask how to prevent them as I know you can't, but it's really itchy, do they generally itch ? Just got the one small red mark atm at the side of my bump. Didn't really get them with my ds but this baby is a whopper already apparently so I'm not suprised !

I got my first around 28 weeks and it was SO itchy! Used to wake me up at night but calmed after a week or so even when more appeared.
Nothing you can really do except keep piling/moisturising them up but yes, the itching is normal from the skin stretching/thinning out

I knew they'd appear at some point !! Did yours come up fairly quickly after the first one ??
Any I had with my ds I didn't notice until they had faded they were so minimal, I did get one big one inside my thigh though 🤔

I got to 35 weeks with DD before I was covered pretty much overnight with really deep angry itchy ones, I just made sure to moisturise morning and night and whenever they got itchy instead of scratching them. I tried palmers belly butter but found it really greasy so I just stuck with aveeno and it helped a bit. The worst ones were on my hips and they are faded now but still occasionally itch almost 3 years later.
