When will I know when I’m being induced / c section?

Hi all. I’m nearly 33 weeks pregnant and I’m consultant led due to pre-eclampsia in my previous pregnancy and then requiring blood transfusions.

I had a growth scan at 28, 30 and 32 weeks because baby’s abdominal circumference is dropping down the centiles despite the other measurements remaining consistent. I have yet another growth scan at 34 weeks and if growth is still tailing off then I’m being referred to fetal medicine. Baby is also breech and has been since 25 weeks. Both the sonographer and my midwife has said that they think it’s unlikely they’re going to turn head down as they’re in a “very awkward position” and I have slightly low fluid too so that will also make it harder for them to flip around.

I have asked the consultant at the last two appointments what could happen and I’m just told “let’s take it one appointment at a time” which I understand but I’m also really anxious and want to know if it’s likely baby will make an early arrival. Do you think they’ll induce me early (or c section if still breech)? I’m not due on maternity leave until 38 weeks and ideally would like some time to prepare, relax and spend time with my DS before baby arrives. I know it’s probably an impossible question but does it sound like they’ll get baby out early?

Hi, I am so sorry, I don’t really know the answer but just wanted to come in and support ❤️ You’ve had such a stressful journey and more information from consultant would have been happy. Maybe you could call midwives at the same dept where consultant is and say that you are anxious and ask them what are different scenarios that might happen?

I am also pregnant and currently 29 weeks and also waiting for a growth scan. It’s nerve wracking xx

Meant to say more information would be helpful, but also hope it will be a happy one for you!

@Moonshine160 I could have wrote this myself! I'm 31 weeks had a growth scan last week and baby is on the third centile. And I also have very little fluid left. Basically I'm on weekly Doppler scans and 2 weekly growth. And just have to take it a week at a time. The unknown is so scary! My baby is also breech and they said they doubt he will turn due to low fluid. My previous baby was also small. They also haven't given me an ideas what will happen just keep saying we have to wait. IV never had a c section so the thought of one scares me but I want to be prepared! X
