Just found out I'm pregnant and passed a clot - Graphic/Trigger Warning

Hi,

Looking for some advice, been feeling sick and tired all week. Last night I passed a clot (period isn't due for 10 days).

Freaked out a bit and did a pregnancy test this morning which was positive.

Do you think the below was a miscarriage?

I've contacted my doctors and waiting for a blood test but feeling very scared and my emotions are all over the place.

I can’t say if it’s a mc but it’s abnormal bleeding for you so definitely worth getting seen asap. Have you had any pain?

My last period was more spotting tbh. Only lasted a couple of days.

Been having stomach cramps for the last couple of days.

If your period isn't due for 10 days, does that mean you're 4dpo? Could it be implantation bleeding?

Would implantation bleeding clot like that?

Could your last period perhaps have been implantation spotting, eg was it just spotting and not bright red blood ? That would make you just over six weeks pregnant now if so.
I think you need a scan at the EPU, as it is unlikely you would get a positive test so early, seems more likely that you are further along.

Yes last period was just spotting.

Got blood tests on Saturday and then on Monday to check what's going on.

Really sorry to hear this, think this could be a chemical pregnancy.
Try not to worry too much although I understand how it feels.

Just incase anyone is following this thread still, I've had my blood test results back and I am still pregnant 😆

How far along are you OP? 10 days before your period is very early to get a positive test x pleased everything is ok though!

This is currently what I’m bleeding out atm. I’m worried it’s a miscarriage but your thread has given me hope! I’m 5 weeks atm, so can’t have a scan yet and just been told to wait and test again in a couple of weeks x
