10 weeks 5 days morning sickness easing

Hi all,

This is my first pregnancy and I’m just feeling a bit worried. I have had really bad morning sickness from 6 weeks up until 2 days ago when it has started to ease off slightly. I still have tender breasts and am feeling tired but my morning sickness has drastically improved. Should I call my midwife/doctor? Or is this normal? I haven’t got my 12 week scan for another 13 days and that feels like a lifetime away.

Hi,

I am in a similar boat. I'm 10 weeks and 1 day and over the past few days I've felt significantly better. My nausea just seems to have completely disappeared and my boobs are only ever so slightly tender. From what I've read online the placenta can take over from 9 weeks which makes you feel a lot better. I did have a scan last week at 9 weeks and all was ok at that point but I can't help and worry either. I think it's very likely that all is okay though!

This is reassuring, thank you.

Hi I'm also 10+5 and have a scan in 13 days 😁
Today is the first day I haven't been sick in the morning for 5 weeks so my symptoms are easing up a bit. Good luck to you x

Mine eased off at 10 weeks (Tuesday) it's very normal for that to happen as the placenta starts taking over making the hormones that make you feel ill. By all means, call if you're worried though

Mine eased off then too, back with a vengeance now 13/14 weeks so enjoy while you can

Hi! I was in a similar situation, around 9 weeks I stopped feeling nauseous and at first I thought "great!" but then I wondered if it was a bad sign and was worried. The 12 week scan came around and everything was fine. As people have mentioned (and my midwife told me) it's normal for symptoms to ease off around week 9, so try not to worry too much💐

Mine eased of at around 10 weeks came back worse at 12 weeks but got better again at 13 weeks but still throw up every now and then! I know it's hard but try not to worry it's completely normal for pregnancy symptoms to be better some days and then get worse again congrats on your pregnancy:)
