Would you eat deep fried brie in a restaurant?

Yes, brie is fine cooked. It says so on the NHS

mummyh2016 · 04/08/2022 20:57

Yes I did, why?

Skinnermarink · 04/08/2022 20:59

Mmm yes definitely, sounds lovely, go for it if you fancy it.

MassiveSalad22 · 04/08/2022 21:00

Absolutely!

Firsttimemam123 · 04/08/2022 21:01

Risk of Listeria I guess? But if it’s cooked it’s alright I think? I’m going out for dinner for my mams birthday tomorrow and after looking at the menu I’m dreaming of the deep fried brie starter 🙊

Have the Brie!

Hatscats · 04/08/2022 21:18

100% yum!

Skinnermarink · 04/08/2022 21:19

I mean I ate uncooked when pregnant as the risk is so very negligible but I know lots do worry about it.

Goodnewsday · 04/08/2022 21:20

Yes I’m a vegetarian so brie and goats cheese are like heaven to me. I didn’t have them every time they were on the menu but at times it was limited so I would just ask for it to be absolutely scalding hot and always check the middle before biting into it

20viona · 04/08/2022 21:20

Hell yes I would

pastabest · 04/08/2022 21:22

It's a hard yes from me.

with cranberry sauce or sweet chilli sauce for dipping?

Always cranberry.

Eat the brie, and enjoy!

SmileyClare · 04/08/2022 21:27

Deep fried brie is cooked at 190 degrees, no bacteria will survive that.
Enjoy your meal Smile

dementedpixie · 04/08/2022 21:29

Mould ripened and blue cheeses are ok in pregnancy if cooked first so enjoy your brie

Firsttimemam123 · 04/08/2022 21:30

Yes it comes with a cranberry compote 🤤

Brie and blue cheese both fine if cooked. Perfect for dipping bread and carrot sticks in and one of my favourite cba pregnancy dinners!

Juancornetto · 04/08/2022 21:37

That sounds bloody amazing!

Whatagrapefruit156 · 04/08/2022 21:43
