Hiccups

Hi Can anyone advise on how to stop hiccups. Is this some preggo thing. My first baby, Tried sipping water, hold breath, blowing nose, rhythmic coughs, but can't get rid of them. It hurts now. Been hiccing for 3 hours and it's started making be throw up......which, by the way, has not stopped them either. 8 months preggo. Just hugging a bucket, some tissues and my phone. My Mum is coming over soon. Fed up :(

Milk was the only thing that helped me. I get them a lot aswell so it must be a pregnancy thing lol. Try milk and see how u get on, hope this helps :)

Thank you. I might try that. Anything. Its at the stage of hic hic hic retch and repeat. Waiting for my GP to call me back

Diet Coke was the only thing that helped my hiccups (and reflux)
