Feeling Movement

Hi I'm 19 weeks today this is my second baby, third pregnancy. I'm just starting to get concerned as I've read that people begin to feel their second move much quicker than their first. I have felt some flutters but just worrying a little as I'm not feeling big movements or kicks like some people have done already. Is anyone in a similar position or should I be feeling a lot more? Tia x

Do you know where your placenta is located? If it's at the front of your uterus, you won't feel the movements as early or as hard. If you're feeling flutters that's encouraging!

I'm 17 weeks pregnant with my second baby and started to feel definite movements last night. It's less than a week earlier than when I started to feel movements with my first baby, so no big difference for me apparently. Posterior placenta both times.

I wouldn't be worried about not feeling huge movements, this is my second pregnancy and although I felt flutters from 16 weeks, the stronger movements didn't come until well past 20 weeks. As the previous posters have said, it will be dependent on the position of your placenta also.

I'm also 19 weeks with my second baby I've only just started feeling flutters this time around despite feeling my first from 16 weeks. Placenta at back both times too. I was worried too but my midwife reassured me every pregnancy is different 💖

Thank you everyone. I have been feeling more and more flutters. I think I'm expecting bigger movements too early.

Have any of you had cramping at 19 weeks? I had it yesterday in my lower left by my hip. It felt like period pains x
