Static growth 31 weeks

Looking for a bit of a handhold really

Currently 31+4 and had a routine midwife appointment today. Fundal height measured exactly the same as it did three weeks ago (28cm) so have been referred for a growth scan at the hospital tomorrow evening. I still feel lots of movement so I don't think I'm worried but it feels like such a long time to wait to make sure everything is fine. Hopefully.

Has anyone experienced similar? I know fundal height isn't an exact science, baby was even moving when she was trying to measure so could've just been in an awkward position. DP and I have both noticed that bump changes shape a lot throughout the day.

I had similar where the midwife's measurements suggested growth stopped. The scan at hospital showed DD was growing and measuring as expected so no issues. Its reassuring you're still feeling alot of movement but always better to get checked. Plus you get an extra sneeky peek at your baby since scans are not routine at that stage. If you get a lovely sonographer they'll try and show you things you wouldn't have seen in earlier scans.
Sonographer showed me my daughters full head of hair and printed out a pic of her face and footprint for me to take home 🥰🥰

@BuffyTheBuffetSlayer thank you that is helpful. I am trying to take the positive that at least we get to see baby again but it just feels like a long wait today to get to the appointment 😅

I'm not going to tell you not to feel anxious, I remember what its like, nothing is going to help until you see for yourself 😊

Try and go with someone. I went with the DIL they will pick up on things you may not.

Was it the same midwife? Different people can get different measurements.

Yeah it was the same midwife, I was hoping having that continuity of care would help for any errors between the way different people take measurements 😅

And DP is coming with for the scan so that's good 🤞🏻

i had this twice in my last pregnancy, had 2 extra growth scans which both showed baby was growing perfectly on the right line. She was born normal sized 7lb 11 with no issues. Hope your scan goes well x

@BuffyTheBuffetSlayer thank you! All was fine last week, baby weighing in at approx 4lb 4oz 😂
Lots of big movement the past couple of days so hopefully it is moving around to get head down now x
