Anyone ever lost their mucus plug early?

I am 33 weeks today and pretty certain I lost my mucus plug. My midwife said sometimes I can come away early but will regrow back.

has anyone else lost their mucus plug early and did you go into labour early or was everything ok?

I lost mine a few times from 31 weeks with my second! I didn't go into labour till 38 weeks. It should regenerate but of course always get checked out if you're worried! Hope this helps x

Hi, yes I lost mine when I was 28 weeks. What you've been told is correct, it can regrow and doesn't necessarily mean early labour. I ended up being 2 weeks overdue when I finally had DD with no issues.

I do understand your worry tho, I was the same when it happened to me. Is this your first pregnancy?

Yes it’s my first pregnancy. That’s reassuring, was just in a panic yesterday but after doing research think it’s normal. If it comes out again closer to labour I won’t believe it haha

I've had 4 babies and besides the pregnancy where the show came away early, ive only seen it at the start of labour with one of them so don't worry if you don't see it again x
