Bl**dy pregnancy tests!

I am 12dp5dt. I tested yesterday afternoon and I got a strong positive on a FRER (not ‘dye stealers’) and fainter lines on ClearBlues. Today I tested again in the morning and the line seemed slightly fainter, then again with a FRER this afternoon and it’s a bit stronger (same as yesterday). Got a fainter line though on a Lloyds test. I’m having my Beta tomorrow, but my gawd this is driving me nuts! I’m just convinced it’s a chemical as everyone on the net seems to have dye stealers at this stage. If it was pre-internet, I would be really happy right now, but instead I can’t help but compare myself to all the pics of FRERs online. I know the Beta will give me more of an answer.

Can you tell me your experiences, both positive and negative with respect to testing? Am I right to think this is probably not a viable pregnancy?

I don't think you need to conclude that at all, OP. Hopefully it is a viable pregnancy, perhaps sadly not - but home pregnancy tests just aren't designed to register 'progression', no matter how obsessed the internet is with that idea (I bet the manufacturers are thrilled everyone spends so much money on extra ones, though). They are a yes/no test, and right now you have a yes. I hope things carry on well for you.
