I went into triage at 25+1 and my bump was measuring 24 weeks so I got referred for a growth scan which was this morning. On the scan, baby was measuring on the 90th centile and not the 5th like the fundal height measurement said 🙄 does big baby mean definitely gestational diabetes? The sonographer too asked when my GTT is (it’s on Friday). I had 3+ ketones in my urine yesterday too. 😩

Keytones in urine could mean dehydration, are you drinking enough? Big baby doesn't mean GD guaranteed, people can have bigger babies and not have GD- you'll have to wait till your test to be sure :) as long as baby grows well that's the main thing!

@EllieJai44 i am drinking loads but tbh I drank less water yesterday before my appointment, so that could be why. Baby’s growing well but just a bit on the bigger side even though midwife thought I was measuring small when she checked fundal height haha. Fingers crossed everything will be okay ❤️
