Hi all, 1st time poster here.
I knew that I would be due my period whilst we are away on holiday so took a test before we went. I was due to start my period on Saturday (30/07) and took a Clearblue early detection test on Thursday (28/07). I thought I saw the faintest of lines if I held it at an angle in certain lights (within the timeframe) but because it wasn’t clear or strong in any way, I thought I was wishing it to be there / possibly an evap line (although I’ve now read that these don’t come up til after the timeframe had passed - is that right?)
I didn’t “feel” pregnant & any previous pregnancies have shown strong clear results v early on, so assumed this one was negative, and headed off on hols.
Well Saturday, Sunday & Monday have all been & gone with no sign of my period. We are staying in the middle of nowhere (& the shop we passed yesterday was closed!) so can’t test again for a few days but it’s driving me crazy.
I’ve never been this late before (usually pretty regular with 27 or 28 day cycle, although I think last month was 26) and I know the early tests aren’t 100% but I thought 2 days before I was due would be pretty accurate given they advertise to be able to test 6 days early!
Has anyone had a similar experience with a Clearblue ultra early test?? X
