Second sweep day before DC's birthday after progression

I've got my second one booked this week but went for a hilly walk and had my bloody show yesterday after previously losing bits of my plug, followed by cramping and some irregular tightening. My bump seems to have dropped slightly and baby has turned it's position.

I'm planning on another few walks this week but have this awful feeling that as soon as I go for my second sweep, things will start moving and I'll have this baby on DC1's birthday. My induction is booked for after DC's birthday anyway.

Would you refuse it?

I agree with that. However, there's no immediate concerns about the health of the baby at the moment. Induction is being done in line with NICE guidelines. Sweeps were not discussed with me prior and I've only agreed to them to avoid the induction process really because it was horrendous last time around.
