Test progression sending myself crazy

According to my last period I should be 5w1d today. I’ve woke up and boobs aren’t sore at all. I did a cheap test which was negative and then two more which were faint. In my mad panicked state I got a first response which is nice and positive. Should I worry about the faint tests or not? I know I need to stop testing. Pic attached is first positive 8 days ago, 10 days ago and bottom is this morning.

They're grand, stop worrying!

Oneforposy7 · 30/07/2022 17:12

I know it's hard but test progression doesn't tell you anything. I had perfect test progression with an ectopic pregnancy and miscarriages. I'm 36 weeks now and I tested twice in this pregnancy - one FRER and one digital - so as not to drive myself unnecessarily mad!

Those tests look as you'd expect, symptoms do come and go in pregnancy don't worry

faithtrustandpixiedust · 30/07/2022 17:15

Yeah they look perfect I wouldn't worry x

They look great, now STOP TESTING. It's a recipe for a great deal of stress and anxiety, that will not do you or your little sesame seed any good.
Enjoy your pregnancy 🙂 congratulations

I’d say by now with a first response you should be getting a mega dye stealer. My tests looked like that before my period was due by the time I was a few days late I had a dye stealer. My hcg was just average

bobble53 · 30/07/2022 18:41

Thanks everyone. I am causing myself so much unnecessary panic I know :(

@PinkBump2022 the first two are from over a week ago.

I never even knew what a dye stealer is. The box just says any line, fainter than control or not, is a positive.

I never got a dye stealer when pregnant with my daughter even over 4 weeks pregnant, yours are progressing and that's a good sign and a positive is a positive

Thank you @vegang thats reassuring. I was already worrying about the lines, never mind learning what a dye stealer is!
