TW. Pregnancy loss.
2/14/22 I had a late miscarriage at 16 weeks. 2 months later, I got pregnant again.

I am now 16weeks (also happens to be angel boys due date) and I had a scan yesterday. Babies heart rate was only 88bpm. It had been fine up until yesterday.
I had a small bleed but they believe it was due to a hematoma clearing itself from my uterus.
My Dr is preparing me for the worst but telling me to stay hopeful.

I have to wait until Monday to have another scan and it’s killing me. I keep thinking I had a dead baby inside of me again and I become inconsolable. I don’t know how to do this again.

Has anyone had any experience with this? Thanks.

I haven't experienced it OP but think you should try to stay calm for yourself and baby. Can you do something relaxing, like meditation app? Plan a nice walk over the weekend? I think anything that can take your mind off it and lower stress levels. Hoping for the best for you Flowers

The waiting is so difficult. The best thing to do is stay distracted. Go out of the house, put earphones in with loud music etc. Make your mind too busy to think about it. Then when you're calmer and comfortable allow yourself to feel your emotions, talk to someone etc.

I am so sorry for your loss. I really hope that you are getting support - two late losses such as these must be absolutely terrible to cope with.

Take time and be kind to yourself.
