Pregnancy after loss

I’ve had a positive test after two previous early losses. I’m only a day late for AF so super nervous in case I miscarry again, and tbh did not expect the positive test because I’ve been struggling to conceive since the MC’s. I’ve been given progesterone suppositories to take from a positive test. Does anyone have any advice for dealing with the anxiety? And has anyone used the suppositories before? I seem to be getting a few cramps since using them.

Hi 👋 I'm a recurrent miscarriage sufferer and currently 9+5 pregnant.
I'm afraid the anxiety never leaves, you just have to take it one day at time.
As for the suppositories, I would put them up the back end as they just kept coming out vaginally, and I felt like I was bleeding which obviously adds to the anxiety x

Hi there, thank you for the response! That’s a good tip re the suppositories, I’ve experienced the same so far they come out straight away, so much anxiety involved with it all. Wishing you all the best ✨ x

Congratulations on your pregnancy BTW 😊
The progesterone really is working this time. I've got a 9 year old and had 6 losses previously, all very early.
Fingers crossed 🤞 for you x

@Sunnyxo
Agree with pp put up back end much easier, I have had 4 miscarriages and now 18 weeks pregnant never got past ten weeks, but I can say you never settle unfortunately I phoned mw today to call in just to hear the hb and my anxiety is bad, congratulations xx

Thanks both, and congratulations also! 😊 it’s reassuring to hear they are working! I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much/distracting myself til at least a week or so more has passed 🤞🏻

@Babyghirlhope you got some reassurance from the MW, do you go to see them for the HB or is it over the phone? Xx

I used suppositories having had two miscarriages and went on to have a full term pregnancy.
regarding anxiety, I dont think i can offer much support there! I was checking for blood after every wipe for my entire pregnancy! What i can say is what will be will be, so just try and relax (easier said than done) nothing you do will make any difference. You’ll get there x

@Incognitopest thats really reassuring to hear, I’ve not taken these before and had two losses, so hopefully will work for me too. What times did you take them at? Would morning and before bed be okay xx

I can’t remember exactly, I definitely took before bed but maybe i only had one a day? ….i know i used “the back end” as a friend told me it was less messy!
